"I first met Alice when she was teaching BodyPump and I asked her what other classes she taught. When she told me about Boxercise with Starr Fitness I was really excited as it was something I'd always wanted to do. At my first class everyone was really welcoming and friendly and I instantly knew I wanted to go again. The classes are a fantastic workout and a lot of fun.
After I'd been going for a few weeks Alice told me about Tough Mudder - a 12 mile obstacle course, that she and some of the other group members were doing in a few weeks time. After a lot of encouragement from Alice I decided to sign up and join the team, and I'm so glad I did. The training Alice did with us was brilliant - climbing trees, sliding down banks, jumping in rivers and running through the forest was a fantastic experience. During training and on the day of the challenge Alice never failed to encourage us, motivate us and most of all not let any of us give up. A year ago I'd never imagined I'd be doing something so challenging, but Alice has made me realise that you really can achieve anything if you really want it. I'm so glad I went to that first Boxercise class, as not only have I met an excellent trainer, but also made a friend for life."
